Mobile Phones

Mobile phones are not allowed to be used in school for safeguarding reasons and we accept no responsibility for lost/stolen items brought into school.  If any child is seen using a personal mobile/smartwatch/IT device, it will be confiscated and parents asked to come into school to collect it. 

KS2 pupils must hand in their  devices to the office for safekeeping.

KS3 pupils are advised to hand in devices, if however they decide to keep them, then they must keep them out of sight and switched off whilst in school.

Year 8 pupils are only allowed to use mobile phones in their Common Room during lunchtime.

Other technology

The use of MP3 players, iPods and any other audio equipment is strictly banned in school time. Any mobile phones, MPS players, iPods and audio equipment used during the Oakfield Academy day will be confiscated. Please note that parents will have to collect any confiscated items.
